Here at Eyecare Leaders, we are closely monitoring developments around the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak. The safety of our patients and employees is paramount, which is why we have increased our efforts to meet the following measures so that your visit to our facilities is the safest possible:
Implementation of recommendations consistent with the guidance from local and national public health authorities, including guidelines for quarantines.
Frequent sanitation of high traffic areas of patient contact including counters, phones, computers, doors, and handles.
Antimicrobial sanitation of patient examination rooms after every visit.
Hand sanitizers are available for patient use at check-in counters and in examination rooms.
Appointments
If you are sick
Following guidelines by public health officials concerning COVID-19, we are asking that our patients and their family stay home and reschedule their appointments if they have experienced any of the following within the last 2 weeks:
Patients with a temperature at or over 99.5°F degrees will be rescheduled.
Patients with upper respiratory symptoms including cough, runny nose, sneezing, general malaise will be rescheduled (14 days without symptoms).
Episodes of stomach or GI problems (for any reason)
Been in contact with anyone suspected or diagnosed with COVID-19
Patients/Visitors who have recently returned from international travel will be rescheduled (30 days after return)
We will reschedule your appointment at a time when you do not experience any of these episodes for a period of 2 weeks. Thank you for your understanding as we try our best to provide a safe environment for our patients and staff.

The following will be implemented to preserve social distancing goals:
Face Coverings - All visitors are required to bring and wear their own mask or face covering when visiting our clinics. All of our doctors and any staff who will have direct patient contact will be masked.
Temperature Check - Temperatures will be taken for all person entering the clinic including patients, staff, doctors, and visitors. Any persons with a temperature at or over 99.5°F degrees will be rescheduled. Waiting areas have been reorganized to increase the distance between waiting patients.
Social Distancing - Those accompanying patients (non-minors) for their appointment are asked to wait outside or in the car to preserve social distancing goals. Patients will be called when it is time for the appointment.
Minors - Patients who are minors are limited to one (1) accompanying visitor for their appointment.
Limited Appointments - Appointment scheduling has been reduced to allow for proper disinfection between patients and preserve social distancing goals. If the purpose of your visit is urgent or an emergency, please give our office a call.
