Dr. Nhan L. Hoang, O.D.

Dr. Nhan Hoang received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Florida, where he was inducted into the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Houston.

Dr. Hoang earned his optometric degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2003, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude of his class.  He was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society for his outstanding academic accomplishments on optometry. During his education, he received the Excellence in Optics award for his academic achievements in the field of optical science.  He also received the David J Kerko Low Vision Award for his studies in the field of optical aids for the visually impaired.  Dr. Hoang did his training with Dr. Garcia and Associates where he focused on retinal pathology.  He also did his externship at Coastal Eye Associates where he provided optometric care with an emphasis on laser vision correction. 

Dr. Hoang is a certified therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. He treats and manages many eye conditions and diseases such as eye infections, eye injuries, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts and dry eyes.  He co-manages LASIK and refractive surgery patients.  Also with his extensive background in optics, he prides himself in trying to provide his patients with the best vision possible from glasses and contact lenses.  He is always looking forward to seeing patients.  You can meet Dr. Hoang at Eyecare Leaders in Houston, Texas.
